When I am out showing homes and we are ready to stop for lunch it is common for me to take clients to one of the local Babbos for some great food and great service.
They have locations in Phoenix, Surprise, Cave Creek and Arrowhead. Take a look…
They start you out with some really great bread and balsamic dipping sauce.

You know when you go to the same place many times over you get “hooked” on one particular dis? Well mine is the Steak and Blue Salad.

Of course all of their food is really great…but as I wandered through the restaurant I noticed most people were enjoying the salads.

The servers are typically very attentive and good at their job!

So…for some great food at reasonable prices…and great service… give Babbo a try! :) You can check out their sitehere.

We took the whole family out to Rock Bottom Brewery a couple weekends ago. I have lived in Peoria for years and have never gone. My husband and I had a gift card and decided we should try it out. It turns out that it was a great place and we all had a lot of fun. I am sure we will be going back soon!
The restaurant is located on Bell Road just west of 75th Ave in Glendale, next to the Arrowhead Mall. It has mostly high tables, but there are some booths inside and table seating on their two outdoor patios. For large crowds, such as ours, they will open up a separate dinning room with more table seating. The main restaurant has a bit of a laid back, sports bar feel. With a big bar right in the middle and the in house brewery to the left as you walk in the door.
The food is fairly priced and pretty darn good. There is a wide variety of choices from steaks to wraps, burgers to pizzas. The real fun is in the beer, brewed right in the restaurant by a local Brew Master. The selections change often and as I learned on my tour of the brewery… it is quite a project to do so! Ask your waiter if you can have a tour. It takes about 10 minutes and it is jam packed with information about beer making. Never would have imagined it to be such a science.
The restaurant has many great deals such as $5 Football Specials and the Mug Club… where you drink from a specialty Mug and earn points for prizes every time you visit. Happy Hour is from 4pm to 7pm and another starting at 10pm on the weekdays and 11pm on the weekends. My favorite special is on Sunday’s from 9am – 9pm… the Bloody Mary Bar. You pick your vodka and they supply a variety of mixes, spices and sauces to add to your drink. Sounds like fun to me
The only down fall that I could find is the noise! Fine if you are there with a couple people or to watch the game, but we had a large crowd and it was a little hard to have a conversation with all the noise coming from the main room. If I was to go back with a big party I would ask for a table on the patio.
